Reported
Republican campaigns and political groups spent $2.9 million at Trump’s resorts from January 2025 through September 2026.
A Washington Post analysis of FEC filings found the RNC spent nearly $1.8 million of it, and the count leaves out Trump’s own campaign and committees. The total is down from $3.3 million in today’s dollars over the same stretch of his first term, but spending at Mar-a-Lago has more than tripled. RNC spokeswoman Natalie Baldassarre said “our stakeholders love these venues,” and NRCC spokesman Mike Marinella said, “We hold events where donors want to show up, and that’s Mar-a-Lago.”
-
Reported
Republican political spending at Trump properties passed $1 million after he took office in January 2025, counting FEC filings through September.
NOTUS found the RNC spent more than $800,000 of it, including more than $307,000 at Trump National Doral on May 2 and more than $193,000 at Mar-a-Lago on March 5. In late May, Rep. Dan Meuser’s campaign spent nearly $4,500 on fundraising at Mar-a-Lago, days before Trump said he would endorse Meuser if he ran for Pennsylvania governor; Meuser chose not to run. The White House referred questions to the RNC, whose spokesman Zach Parkinson said Trump properties are “where our donors, members, and grassroots want to be” and called the story “a tired, fake narrative being peddled by a left-wing group masquerading as a watchdog.”
-
Reported
MAGA Inc. held at least four $1 million-a-plate dinners and one $1.5 million-a-plate dinner with Trump at his Florida and Virginia clubs in 2025.
Public Citizen listed dinners at Mar-a-Lago on March 1, March 15 and April 4, one at Trump’s Virginia golf club on April 24, and a “Crypto & AI Innovators Dinner” there on May 5. Another $1 million-per-person MAGA Inc. dinner was set for Mar-a-Lago on October 17, 2025. NOTUS found the super PAC itself paid about $43,000 to Trump locations from the start of his second term through September 2025.

Never Surrender, the PAC Trump’s campaign committee became after the 2024 election, spent $119,249 at Trump properties in the six months after the election.
CREW’s review of FEC filings found $676,457 in political spending at Trump properties in that window. The RNC was the top spender at $372,215. Trump-aligned groups spent $139,557, and most of it came from Never Surrender.

Reported
Federal campaigns and PACs spent nearly $3.2 million on Trump businesses in the first half of 2024, and more than 80% of it came from Trump’s own campaign and associated groups.
CNN’s review of FEC filings counted payments to TAG Air, the company that operates Trump’s 757, and found his committees had spent more than $28 million on his businesses since his first presidential bid. Kari Lake’s Senate campaign spent more than $100,000 at Mar-a-Lago, and Bernie Moreno’s campaign spent about $17,000 there two days after Trump endorsed him. Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said “committees are paying the fair market rate for all venues and services” and called quid pro quo allegations “false and politically motivated to bolster an old and tired narrative.”
